CMD in Franklin NC is partial warehouse and office space. The design called for constant volume gas package units serving the warehouse portion and split duel fuel systems serving the office area with multiple VVT zones on both levels. Carrier i-Vu Open was chosen for the project by the engineer to meet specific requirements. Two gas package units where connected to one controller to perform staging between the units but sync the economizers together. The duel fuel systems utilize heat pump operation until the outside air temperature reached 36 degrees than switched to gas heating. the system was capped off with the i-Vu open BACnet system. Upon completion custom equipment and floor plan graphics where installed.
